Cinnamon Apple Chips

Ditch the bagged chips and let your kitchen smell like cinnamon heaven! These apple chips are delightfully chewy when warm and perfectly crisp once cooled. Simple ingredients, zero oil, and maximum flavor.

Cinnamon Apple Chips

Yield: 6 servings

2 apples, cored and thinly sliced, about 1/8-inch thick

1 ½ teaspoons granulated sugar

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Favorite cooking spray

Preheat oven to 200°F. In a large bowl, toss apples with sugar and cinnamon. Line a metal baking sheet with parchment paper, optional. Place a wire rack on top and spray with favorite cooking spray. Arrange apples in a single layer.

Bake for 2 to 3 hours, flipping apples halfway through, until apples are dried but still pliable. Apple will become crispy after they have cooled. Store in a cool, dry place until gone.

Chef Stacy Tip: Slice apples using the slicing blade of a food processor or mandolin. Have an air fryer? Working in batches, place apples in a single layer in the basket of an airfryer. Bake at 350°F for about 12 minutes, flipping every 4 minutes
